Lecture at RMIT Melbourne

1st October 2021

Securing the Food Supply Chain is a serious matter. We provided commentary and expertise in a 1.5 hours lecture to a senior class of practitioners studying supply chain management (SCM) at RMIT Melbourne.

Topics included:

  • The global supply chain and how it functions (wholistically)
  • Securing the supply chain
  • The role of IOT devices in giving granular visibility
  • The role of communications to allow events and alerts to be communicated
  • How we can protect people (our greatest assets)
  • How food security affects us all

Great feedback was received from the participating students and from Professor Booi. Jonathan also received the following note from Dr Elsie Hooi, who had asked a number of very thought-provoking questions during the presentation!
